Day 1, Welcome to Iceland!

- Whale watching from the old harbor
- Guided bike tour
- Guided walking tour
- Gourmet tour
- Cooking class
Day 2, Snowmobile on Langjokull Glacier and Secret Lagoon:
Your private guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel at 9:00 AM. You will be driving in a 4x4 vehicle that allows you to get off the beaten track, up on glaciers and behind volcanoes – all depending on weather and other conditions. Start with an exploration of Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the location of Iceland´s Parliament between the years 930 and 1798. Thingvellir is also one of the few places in the world where you can see the effects of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates pulling apart, clearly visible in Almannagja or Everyman's Gorge. After lunch, travel to Langjokull, Iceland´s second largest glacier for a thrilling snowmobile tour. Afterwards stop at the Secret Lagoon to swim in a natural hot springs pool. Other stops today include Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysir hot spring area. Overnight in the countryside.
Day 3, Thorsmork Wilderness:
Today, we pack a picnic lunch and head into the dramatic wilderness area called Thorsmork on the north side of Eyjafjallajökull, the volcano that erupted in the spring of 2010. The adventure possibilities today are endless and your guide will tailor the day to your interests, weather and other conditions. Explore the ravines that dissect the north face of the volcano, hike to viewpoints, hike to the run-off glacier Gigjokull, or drive up the slopes of the mighty glacier topped volcano for an other-worldly experience.
Day 4, Waterfalls, Puffins and Beaches of the South:
Today we explore the dramatic landscape along the south coast of Iceland. The scenery is dominated by cascading waterfalls and glacier tipped volcanos on one side and black-sand beaches and sea-cliffs on the other. Visit and hike along waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss and other lesser known waterfalls and look for puffins and seabirds in Reynisfjara beach and Dyrhólaey promontory. Return to Reykjavik by dinner time. We will make reservations for you in one of Reykjavik´s top restaurants.
Day 5, Departure:
On this last day of your visit, our car service will pick you up three hours before your departure flight and bring you to Keflavik International Airport in time for check-in.
