Day 1:Welcome to Iceland!

Our car service will pick you up at the airport and take you to Reykjavik, where you check into your centrally located hotel. Spend the day at leisure with recommendations from us.

Day 2:Waterfalls and Black Sand Beaches of the South

Your private guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning. Drive along the South coast of Iceland, taking in some of its most dramatic scenery, exploring waterfalls and black-sand beaches along the way, including the iconic Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls. Hike at the black-sand beaches around the town of Vik with views of the Atlantic to one side and glacier capped volcanoes on the other. Activity options today include hiking, horseback riding, and ATV quad adventure.

Day 3: The World of the Glacier

Discover the otherworldly and varied landscape around Vatnajokull glacier, Europe´s largest national park. The area encompasses a breathtaking collection of peaks and glaciers, flora and fauna. Explore and hike in alpine surroundings, sail or kayak on a glacier lagoon filled with blue icebergs from the calving glacier. Walk on a glacier tongue in Skaftafell National Park and traverse vast and stunning lava fields including Eldhraun (fire lava) from the historic 18th century Laki eruption.

Day 4: The Rugged Coastline of the East

Today, we travel to the east coast of Iceland with its breathtaking fjords and charming fishing villages. The east of Iceland is still waiting to be discovered. It is the home of wild reindeer and brilliant bird life including puffins, geese, whooper swans and waders. Enjoy a day hiking in pristine nature, hearing stories of elves and other folktales, and visiting small villages, including Hofn, the lobster capital of Iceland.

Day 5: The Eastern Highlands: Land of Waterfalls

Today we head to the eastern highlands, a vast wilderness area. We´ll stop at the Wilderness center, a unique gateway for hiking into the highlands. The center is also a perfect place to get an insight into the daily life of Icelanders in years past. Our hiking today takes us to countless waterfalls along a trail that leads into the Icelandic highlands and ends by a geothermal area where you can relax in a natural pool of warm spring water.

Day 6:To the End of the World

Today, we´ll venture to Skalanes, a nature reserve that is home to over 40 different species of birds and other wildlife. Located at the mouth of a fjord, this remote area offers a unique feeling of tranquility – here time stands still. Enjoy the dramatic snow-capped mountains, vast sea cliffs, secluded shoreline and small coves. In the late afternoon explore the town of Seydisfjordur, often considered the most charming village in Iceland. With its colorful 19th century buildings, majestic setting, and artistic vibe, it offers a truly unique atmosphere.

Day 7: Return to Reykjavik and Departure

In the morning, a 50-min domestic flight takes you back to Reykjavik. From there, our car service will transfer you to the international airport at Keflavik in time for your flight back home.
