Stefán

Stefan comes from a small fishing town in northern Iceland. He began at young age working at the fish factories after school to help during high season. Then Stefan started working in a bakery and he learned the trade. With his wife Gudrun they ran a bakery for several years up in northern Iceland. After selling the business Stefan studied engineering, he has a BSc in Engineering Management.

The outdoors has always played a big role in Stefan’s live, he worked for many years with volunteer rescue teams gaining good knowledge and experience with Icelandic nature. Beside many journey’s in Iceland he has been to base camp Mount Everest and to the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains, Toubkal in Morocco northern Africa. It was because these experiences that he started working as a guide 2009 and became Certified guide 2014 after finishing guide school.
