Lárus Karl

Larus Karl was born in Reykjavik and from an early age he loved photographing nature and animals. Later he graduated from the Sven Winquist School of Photography in Sweden. Today he is a professional photographer and guide.

Larus Karl loves guiding guests around Iceland and is always willing to help them find the right photographic angle! Larus Karl´s favorite areas include Thingvellir National Park, the south coast and the Westfjords.

Larus Karl is the author of several photography books on Icelandic nature and fly fishing and his most recent book is entitled Mountain Rides on Icelandic Horses which details his annual riding trip with a group of friends across the Icelandic highlands.
