Kristján Pétur

Kristján has been all over Iceland. He loves nature and has a keen interest in geology. He is certain, for example, that he’s seen every single volcanic eruption that has occurred in Iceland over the past 20-25 years.

Born and raised in Iceland, Kristján spent hours as a child pouring over his father’s map collection, planning adventures to places unknown.

Kristján has been working as a professional guide since 1999. Kristján enjoys meeting new people and takes great pleasure in sharing his knowledge of Icelandic culture, history and nature. He knows the mountains better than most Icelanders, especially the Fjallabak area. He is a keen hiker and is both very professional and amiable.
