Ívar is a certified Iceland guide with a diverse professional background. Born and raised on a sheep farm in the Westfjords, he later changed direction to pursue further education in business administration, eventually earning an MBA. His career spans roles as a driver, fisherman, CEO, and management positions in sales, service, and business consultancy—providing him with a unique perspective on Iceland’s landscapes and culture.
Ívar enjoys traveling both within Iceland and abroad. Passionate about the outdoors, mountain hiking, and fly fishing, he is also a seasoned rider of the Icelandic horse, making him an excellent companion for travelers seeking to explore the country.
