The house is located only 50 minutes drive from Reykjavik in a quiet area on Álftavatn lake with a breathtaking view off the surrounding mountains and the lake and a black sand beach. Attractions in the area are: Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir hot spring area and the national park Thingvellir. Activities in the area include: golf, horseback riding, river rafting, glacier hiking etc.
